What is the strangest job that you’ve ever had?
I cleaned the inside of the windows at the top, around the light, of the Monhegan Island Lighthouse.

If you could switch jobs with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was in sixth grade. I had a teacher named Ms. Brown, not my partner teacher!  She was great and really connected with her students.   My second job choice was an occupational therapist.  I wanted to help people that had experienced life-altering events become independent again.

If you had some free time, how would you spend it? OR How do you spend your summer vacations?
I love being with my family.  Hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, anything outside.  I do like to curl up with a good book as well.

What does a typical day at MAMS look like for you?
There is never a typical day!

What do you love about middle school?
I love that there is never a typical day.  I also love the age that the students are.  They are maturing, growing up, and are still excited to learn.  They are at the point in their lives where they are thinking about the future and what they may want to do. It is cool to have the privilege to open their eyes to the world around them.  These students are the next great EVERYTHING that will change and improve our world!

I am also fortunate to work with an amazing staff that I view as my MAMS family.
