What is the strangest job that you’ve ever had?
I really haven’t had any strange jobs. I started at a restaurant at 16 and stayed 31 years. I’ve heard some really strange stories from customers though.

If you could switch jobs with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
If I could switch jobs with anyone it would probably be Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. He gets to travel the States and try different foods, taste from different cultures and meet some really fascinating people. He also drives a really cool car as well!

If you had some free time, how would you spend it? OR How do you spend your summer vacations?
I love to spend my free time with my sons just driving around exploring parks, antique stores, escape rooms and of course new restaurants. I would also spend free time by the water with my little Westie dog Willow.

What does a typical day at MAMS look like for you?
Most days start at 5:30 with food truck deliveries. Then my team and I count, package and cook meals. We are currently serving around 4800 meals from our kitchen a week. So there is a lot of organizing, bagging and lots of math. Then some coffee and lots of
laughs, and paperwork.

What do you love about middle school?
I love when the students try new foods and decide they like it. To see them mature from 6th grade to 8th grade is truly a pleasure. It is a curious time for them, to watch them discover things about themselves that they didn’t know they could do. MAMS is a great place to work!
